The Lord Nelson Cornhole game is a fun and easy garden game. Challenge your friends or family to play the most fun game of the summer.
In the game, players take turns throwing corn bags into large targets; the first to reach 21 points wins. An excellent game for a barbecue party or as a summer gift for the cottage.
Dimensions: 30x50x4 cm. Legs 11 cm.
SETTING UP THE TARGETS:
Set the distance between the targets to 3-8 meters, depending on the available space.
Beginners should start at 3 meters and increase the distance as your game improves.
HOW TO PLAY:
SINGLES (2 opposing players)
1. Alternate throws between the players until all 8 bags have been thrown.
2. Record the scores and continue playing towards the target board.
3. Repeat until one player wins the game.
DOUBLES (2 teams with 2 players each)
1. 1 player from each team throws in turns until all 8 bags have been thrown.
2. The other two opposing players wait at the target board and record the scores.
3. The players switch positions and continue playing towards the target board. The players at the other end calculate the scores and take their turn throwing at the starting target board.
RULES:
1. The first to reach 21 points wins!
2. Always throw from behind the other board. The bag must always be thrown underhand.
3. Throwing from in front of the board is considered a foul and does not count.
4. Every bag that leaves a player's hand is considered a throw.
SCORING:
1. Landing in the target hole = 3 points
2. Landing on the target = 1 point
3. Landing on the ground = 0 points
