Woven Badges & Patches
A badge or patch is produced separately and attached to the product by sewing, heat pressing or hook-and-loop. Badges give a garment a finished, branded look – and the same badge works on many different products.
Badge types
Woven patch
Woven from fine threads, so it reproduces small details and text more precisely than embroidery. Neat, flat and light – the classic choice for sleeve badges, chest badges and product labels.

Embroidered patch
The traditional fabric badge with the design embroidered on a base cloth. Textured and premium – the familiar look of workwear and sports club badges.

Sublimation patch
A multicolour image is sublimated onto a polyester badge. The best choice for photographic designs and gradients – for example a landscape on a cap badge.

Leather badges
A debossed or embossed leather or faux-leather badge gives a warm premium look to beanies, caps, aprons, denim products and bags.

Woven label
A small woven label sewn into a hem, sleeve or neckline seam. Finishes the product discreetly.

Tackle twill
Letters or shapes cut from fabric and stitched onto the product. A bold, layered finish for large logos – a classic on game jerseys, sweatshirts and varsity jackets.

Chenille and PVC badges
The soft, velvety chenille badge is a varsity classic, while the weatherproof three-dimensional PVC badge suits outdoor and workwear, backpacks and bags.
Strengths
- The same badge works on many products – a consistent look across the range
- Can be attached to products that cannot be embroidered directly (e.g. lined jackets)
- With hook-and-loop backing the badge is interchangeable (work and outdoor wear)
Good to know
- Badges have a production minimum – we confirm it in the quote.
- Edges can be finished with a stitched border or laser-cut to any shape.
